GBC’s Top 5 Comedy Sketches on Religion

GBC’s Top 5 Comedy Sketches on Religion

So, last month we brought you our top 5 comedy sketches on racial stereotypes. As we head to the end of this month and it’s theme of interfaith, we’ve got another top 5 for you to (hopefully) enjoy. As before, if you think there’s been an obvious emission and we’ve got the worst taste in comedy you’ve ever seen, leave a comment.

5. At number five, an excerpt from a group of Muslim comedians which took part in a tour a couple of years ago entitles ‘comedislam’, they’re all recommended viewing, but this was a personal favourite on breaking bad news

4. Larry David and Curb Your Enthusiasm, Jewish talk…

3.Omid Djalili presents his version of events during a Jewish-Christian delegation. A Priest and a Rabbi walk into a bar…just kidding

2.The king of the awkward silence, Ricky Gervais, in an extract from the show Extras. Remember, your lies will always catch up with you.

1.Well there has to be at least one obvious entry in the list. All together now… ‘he’s not the messiah, he’s a very naughty boy!’

Next month’s theme is going to be ‘Changing attitudes’. Finding acceptable jokes just keeps getting harder and harder!
