Margrete helped with the Olympics and Paralympics

Which Olympic/Paralympic moment has stuck with you the most?

Margrete: ‘The Olympics, when we did the rehearsal and went in to the stadium, that was when the whole thing kicked in about what was going on.’

What did you think of the opening ceremony?

Margrete: ‘The Olympic was brilliant absolutely amazing, and I liked the closing ceremony.’

What’s the most important message we can take from the games?

Margrete: ‘The Paralympics will stay with me as something special.  I think for the first time that people have opened up their eyes for how much they have achieved and how wonderful they are.  They’re good examples for people who moan about different things.

What legacy would you like to see as a result of the Olympics:

Margrete: ‘It’s just the way it’s put people together and for the young ones to be inspired to do sport, especially in Britain where it’s not that easy to get access.’
